Mission 2028
Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federations’ joint Mission 2028 is an ambitious one to deliver an Olympic Medal in 2028 and to foster, nurture, develop and serve Qatar’s national and expatriate cyclists and multisporters. QCF will lead the development of cycling and triathlon from grass roots to elite levels in Qatar.
Key Goals
- Develop the capability of the federation to deliver the strategy as a well-managed and efficient national governing body for the sport:
- Develop revenue and commercial support to enable the delivery of mission through government and private sector funding
- Build/lobby required infrastructure for:
- Trails, routes, velodrome
- QCF headquarters and performance training centre
- Achieve sustainable growth through 3rd party engagement in cycling
- Private sector, retail, coaching, events, technology etc
- Clubs, teams and member organisations to take ownership of elements of grassroots and elite development
- Grow the active cycling and triathlon community to a total of:
