2025 World Triathlon Development Regional Cup in Tam Chuc

The Qatari triathlon team concluded its participation in the ITU Development Cup, held in Tam Chuc, Vietnam, from April 11 to 13, 2025.

The team was represented in this tournament by Haitham Al-Abbasi, Fahad Al-Kuwari, and Alia Al-Hamad, under the supervision of coaches Mubarak Al-Ajji and Noura Al-Amiri.

This participation is an important step in our players' careers, as it comes within the framework of participating in international tournaments classified by the International Triathlon Union (ITU). This tournament aims to bridge the gap between local and continental championships, with the winner receiving 125 points in the international rankings.

The tournament witnessed a high level of competition, and our players were able to perform excellently and acquire new skills through direct interaction with elite athletes from the Asian continent. This enhanced their experience and prepared them for future competitions.

The national team continues its preparations for upcoming events, which include new tournaments on the ITU agenda.
